Sergeant Pasquale Pratico was assigned as Registrar of the Camp Algona hospital. The hospital could accommodate 150 patients. He also wrote regular articles in the POW/WOW, the American camp newspaper. In these articles he related news of the Medical Detachment as well as news about patients in the hospital complex.
